School Management Team
Welcome to the SMT web page!
The School Management Team (SMT) is Freese’s governance team. Its mission is to oversee all resources and services at Freese in order to maximize student achievement and establish a powerful learning environment for all students. The SMT advises the principal. It is composed of school staff and parents and many decisions are made on school issues. Members are elected and serve two year terms. There are seven positions for parents on the SMT. Typically, 3 to 5 positions are open at the beginning of the year for parent representatives. If you are interested in serving on the SMT, please contact the school office at 619-479-2727 and ask for your name to be given to Mrs. Hills, the principal. All nominations should be in by Friday, October 9, 2009. 2009-10 election ballots will be sent home to parents after October 9th and before the first meeting on October 22nd.
