Scholastic Reading Counts Goal for 2009-2010 - 100,000,000 WORDS!
Freese students are readers! Last year, students read nearly 70,000,000 (seventy million) words according to our Scholastic Reading Counts independent reading program. This year, the goal is set for 100,000,000 (one hundred million) words by May 28, 2010. We know our students can reach this goal! Support our students in reading independently everyday!
Freese students will set and reach independent reading goals throughout the year. Once the 100,000,000 words goal is met by May 28, 2010, we will have our traditional reading parade and 1-hour recess in June.
